Today was Jacob's last day at The Thiessen Daycare. It certainly isn't by choice that we leave. We came to Virginia after a difficult time with our previous sitter and Jacob has never been happier. I wish we had have found her a year ago. But now... with Jake attending school in the fall, we had no other option but to find someone who could help us juggle the 1/2 day schedule.
Jake rarely cried when we dropped him off. He looked forward to going and didn't always want to leave. He built lots of friendships over the past few months. Sam, Madison, Andrew, Nathan and especially Sethy.

Virginia - Thanks for taking us in when we needed someone like you the most. Thank you for making a difference in our little guys life. For allowing him the room to explore and grow. For giving him the freedom to use his creativity and his imagination to his fullest potential.

As we pulled out of The Thiessen driveway today, Jacob waved and said "Bye Thiessen. Don't worry, I'll come back to visit!" Since Virginia was out of ear shot I answered... "For sure little guy. That is for sure!"
