HAIRSPRAY

Tonight was the premier screening of the movie "Hairspray." Over the weekend, Ron was listening to BOB FM and they were giving away tickets. He was the right caller and won two double passes. Since Ron has football practice on Wednesday nights and couldn't go, (besides, I don't think he was too excited about seeing John Travolta anyways) I claimed the tickets and decided to make it a girly night. Magaly, Anne Marie, Heather and myself were all looking forward to a great night out.
Let's just say our night didn't turn our exactly as planned.
Anne Marie's babysitter cancelled and she spent the day (which was also her wedding anniversary) trying to arrange something with no success. I bolted out of work early, leaving just enough time for Magaly to get us to London for the 7pm showing. On the way to the theatre, Magaly decided to make a detour to Anne Marie's and watch her kids so she could go. Heather was the only one that had her act together and was waiting patiently for us when we arrived at 7:00 on the nose.
"How was the movie," you ask? I'll let you know when we see it. I guess they over book the theatre to insure full capacity. By a lot. They were sold out.
Maybe if I had of done my hair up blue and "Hairsprayed" firm hold they would have let me in... What can you do? I guess it just gives the four of us the excuse to plan another girls night out.

I have seen alot of clips of the movie from late night talk shows so if I piece them all together...it's just like having seen the movie. Special thanks to Magaly for her unselfish act!
