The Falcons won the Conference finals today by a point advancing them to the Ontario Finals next weekend in Toronto against the Scarborough Thunder.
The game was a tight one with many nail-biting moments. The boys didn't play their best game ever but stepped it up enough to beat the defending champions.
It's a good thing Jacob was there dancing away to my IPOD to lighten the mood. "Don't funk with my heart..." Andrew and Nick sat on the sidelines in the imfamous tent playing gameboy and eating pizza.
The emotions after the game were intense and so was the smell from the huddle. The coaches and players have dedicated a lot of time and energy to the season. Their hearts are so intertwined into the football world and the win was a victory in so many ways. It was nice to see the smiles and excitement radiating from the field this afternoon!
It was a great day for football and we look forward to making it a family weekend in TO cheering on the Falcons to victory!
