They won the game 40 - 38. A nail bitter right til the end. Ron coached his Atom team to a tie this afternoon.
The rest of the day was enjoyed outdoors. It's not too often that you can fill up the pool and wander around in your shorts on Thanksgiving. I cut the grass while the kids splashed.

The boys decided to share with whomever would listen what they were thankful for.
I couldn't figure out how to get the video to go the right direction so you'll have to watch with your head tilted sideways...
As I sat in the back yard, soaking up the sun and watching my boys play, I couldn't help but think how much I have to be thankful for.
My husband. It was this time last year that Ron was in the hospital. I am not only thankful but lucky that we are celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary this coming Friday.
My beautiful boys. What more can I say. They are my world.
Friends who walk beside me no matter what.
My Mom. I enjoy popping in for a cup of tea, scrapbooking or just plain hanging out to watch some girly TV. It is so nice that she lives close by and I'm sure one of the things on the kid's thankful list is Grandma's treat house.
Knowing that my Dad has found his place in heaven and is enjoying a game of football right along with the Ferwerda Four!
