Tonight after school the boys and I got a few things ready for Halloween.
Pumpkin Carving...
Jake didn't like sticking his hands in to get the goop out. Neither did Nick but he braved it as to not be the "wimpy" big brother. They each created their own spooky faces and Nick carved his all by himself.
Pumpkin Seeds...
You can't carve pumpkins without saving the seeds to toast and munch on later. Lots of salt and butter and there you have the best fall treat ever!
Class Party...
"Mom, I need you make something for my Hallween Class party." Nothing like a last minute request from a 9 year old! Good thing my cupboard was stocked with everything needed to create Halloween Rice Crispies. While Nick was at Football practice, Jake and I created these Halloween treats!
Tomorrow is the BIG day! Happy Hallows Eve!
