We made a deal that instead of spending money on gifts, we would spend a needed evening together over dinner.
Ron didn't totally follow the rules and came home from work bearing a dozen yellow roses (my favourite). I guess I can't say that nobody buys me flowers anymore! I'm ok with that!
Magaly helped us out by watching the kiddies so we could escape for a few hours. Thanks Galy!
We ended up at Tony Romas. They have the best ribs around! Yummy! It was fun to reminisce over dinner. We talked about our wedding in Jamaica. What were we doing at this time 14 years ago? Drinking banana daiquiris and laying on the beach, man. Dreadlocks and all! Brings a smile to my face!
14 years, 2 kids, memories to hold close and memories yet to make happen.
