Jacob and Nicholas were so excited. Nick was determined to wear his snowpants and boots to school, even though I told him it wasn't necessary because the snow would be melted in a couple of hours. This started a morning rush for Jake to get outside to play before all the snow was gone. So... there I was at 8:45 AM in my jammies, coffee in one hand, defending myself from snowballs with the other.

Jake decided it would be a good idea to make a snowman. We used Rockets for the eyes, a carrot for the nose and piece of red licorice for the smile. He was so proud of his little snowman but was really upset at the thought of him melting so he had a brilliant idea.

(Size not exactly as it appears)
"Let's put him in the freezer Mommy. He'll stay frozen in there and then I can see him every day."
It sounded like a logical plan to me so Mr. Snowman now has a new home beside the fishsticks!
