The boys did pretty good and didn't get up until 8:00 am. While the coffee brewed and we waited for my Mom to arrive, The Ferwerda Four opened our stocking. My Mom's sock was also filled at our house. You see... she left a note by her fireplace telling Santa she would be at Nick and Jake's house in the morning.
When Mom arrived, it was a free for all.
Nick's favourite gift was all his seahawk stuff.
Jake's favourite was his bakugon from Nick.
My favourite was a spa gift certificate! Can't wait to cash that in!
My Mom opened her gift from us. It was a mish mash of fun stuff for her to enjoy! The boys gave her some hot cocoa and marshmallows so that when they come to visit Grandma is all set with supplies!
Ron's gift from me is a big surprise. I gave him a carry on bag with Larry the gnome... Larry had a note stating "I have travelled through Michigan, now I'm ready to travel further. Pack your bags we leave tomorrow." I can't really tell you any details right now since Ron reads this blog... please visit again in in the New Year for updated info!
