Cubbies is a group run by Awana. It's a fun, positive environment where kids can learn and grow spiritually. As they get older they are graduated into Sparks.
Tonight I tagged along to see first hand what it was all about. I'm so glad I did! Jacob was awarded with his vest and special book welcoming him as an official member of the club!
He was so excited to get that vest that he wanted to wear it to bed that night!
We're a little bit behind the other kids so we spent today getting caught up. He is definitely motivated to catch up to the rest of the Cubbies because he receives a sticker for each Bear Hug lesson he completes and earns badges as he goes.
He's loving it and the Leaders are loving him! Really, who wouldn't.
